Teknologi yang dikembangkan oleh Stars Alchemy digunakan untuk membentuk sebuah organisasi pertahanan internasional yang dikenal sebagai Globalcentric Universal Aliansi melawan Radikal Destruction ( GUARD ) . Hal ini dilakukan diam-diam , sehingga untuk menghindari kepanikan di seluruh dunia . The interceptive Guards Expanded ( XIG ) adalah sayap tempur GUARD , beroperasi di langit benteng mengambang dikenal sebagai Basis Aerial.
Gamu Takayama 20 tahun , seorang ilmuwan dan anggota Alchemy Stars sebentar pertemuan Gaia selama beberapa eksperimen virtual reality ia melakukan dengan tujuan rahasia menemukan kehendak Bumi , kemudian bergabung dengan dia dalam rangka untuk melawan berbagai monster yang mengancam keselamatan bumi . Selama pertempuran , ia bertemu Ultraman agul , yang bentuk manusia adalah Hiroya Fujimya , mantan anggota Alchemy Stars . Keduanya berbenturan karena cita-cita mereka tentang perlindungan bumi tetapi akhirnya menyelesaikan perbedaan mereka untuk melawan musuh bersama mereka.
